HISTORY AND COMPANY
Villa Dora is a company run since 1997 by the Ambrosio family, which has set itself, since its birth, as a perfectly representative cellar of the unique territory of its kind, located at the foot of Vesuvius. Villa Dora, today, represents the excellence of Vesuvian wine production: concentrated on the production of local native vines, their proposal must undoubtedly be considered among those of the highest quality level, such as the Lacryma Christi Doc. The vineyards are strictly organic, surrounded by olive trees and beautiful pine trees. Their exposure faces south-west and overlooks the spectacular Inferno Valley, on Mount Vesuvius. Most of these vineyards are made up of old plants over forty years old, reared with the typical Vesuvian pergola system: tall and powerful, which gives shade to the heavily grassed ground. In this evocative and fascinating environment the labels of Villa Dora come to life, which always prove to be up to expectations, offering us tonic and juicy, mineral and dynamic wines.
