The company and the Terroir
In 1988, Giovanni Abrigo, a great lover of French viticulture, completed his studies in oenology and began collaborating with his father Orlando in the family business. An ambitious and skilled winemaker, over the course of almost thirty years Giovanni has made great changes and technical improvements in the cellar. Indeed, alongside the traditional vinification methods, he introduced new automatic technologies to optimize the various stages of production processes. Today the Treiso company, thanks to its 20 hectares in the province of Cuneo, produces among the most important and well-known Piedmontese wines in the world: Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, as well as various Langhe DOC denomination wines.
