Tanit Moscato di Pantelleria Vino dolce Miceli DOC

Tanit, a wine produced with Moscato di Alessandria grapes, also called Zibibbo. Bright yellow gold reveals a large and humorous smell of candied orange, date and dried fig, sage and millefiori honey. Hot and soft on the palate, well supported by acidity, flavor and caramel finish. Great to match with seasoned cheeses, with dry pastries or just simply.

HISTORY

The Cellar Miceli was born in the 30's when the Navy Commander Ignazio Miceli stopped massing and transporting with his schooner Jasper loose Sicilian wine from Castellamare del Golfo in several Italian and French ports and opened a wine shop in Via Gagini, in the heart of Palermo. In the 60s, by virtue of their competence, image, passion for wine, their son Salvatore and their nephew Ignazio employed the latter also in the vineyard and cellar starting to produce their own. Today the Miceli Winery produces its traditional wines with precious and selected grapes and others including Yrnm, Fiammato, Smodato, sons of an innovative vocation and true market reference in their own Cellars located in Sciacca and Pantelleria.
