HISTORY
The Tuscan company Buondonno was born in 1888 from the dream of two Neapolitan boys, Gabriele Buondonno and Valeria Sodano who, still boys at the university, fantasized about leading a life in the country. So they settle in Castellina in Chianti and initially buy 3 hectares of vineyards, which over time have become 8, in addition to having 12 hectares on which the couple has planted olive groves and founded an agriturismo. Since his birth, Gabriele has led the vineyard and the cellar following deeply biological criteria. Their flagship wine is Chianti Classico. In addition to this, they produce from the old vines and only in favorable years a Sangiovese Riserva, the "Campo dei Ciliegi" from a blend of syrah, merlot and sangiovese, a Rosso from sangiovese and merlot and a pure Sangiovese Rosé
