Return to the origins; Rosso Antico comes from the wise combination of selected white wines and 33 aromatic herbs. Three species of Artemisia - Absinthe Major, Absinthe Gentile and Assenzio Pontico - confer the characteristic personality and the right degree of pleasant bitterness. The truly distinctive element of the Rosso Antico bouquet is Ireos Florentina, the finest variety of Iris, which gives the vermouth a typical floral note. In compliance with the traditional recipe, the Iris is processed through an artisanal process to preserve and enhance its aromatic properties and principles. The aromatic herbs are preserved whole until they are used in order to preserve the aromatic characteristics. They are processed following the classic extraction processes, through mixing and boiling: the careful processing of the raw materials, combined with the particular attention during the production phases, are the secret of the Rosso Antico formula.
