HISTORY AND COMPANY

The Lavoro e Salute Cooperative was established in 1987 when the 7 Telaro brothers, of whom Pasquale is an Oenologist and Luigi Agronomo, joining with other young winemakers, decided to physically carry out the long-hoped-for turning point, desiring a healthier environment and nutrition. balanced, compatible with natural living and working following agronomic practices of organic and natural agriculture. Not at home the name of the cooperative "Work and Health" was to demonstrate the respect and protection of the health of those who work in the fields and at the same time the health of consumers. Today the Cooperative Work and Health where the Varo Telaro wines are produced adheres to the community and national programs for the development of organic farming and the productions are certified by national bodies authorized in the "organic". The highly innovative and unique aspect that characterizes the Telaro company in Italy and around the world is the Regional experimental field, hosted in land owned together with the agriturismo, where over 80 vines from different parts of Italy are cultivated and studied. Among the top products among the Telaro Wines, the white and red Galluccio (from Falanghina and Aglianico respectively), the Falanghina and the Aglianico IGT Roccamonfina, the Novello and the Ara Mundi, and a Reserve of Galluccio DOC rewarded among other things. from the Veronelli Guide with 87 points and a late harvest Falanghina. The Telaro Company, always in the constant search for excellence, is trying to re-launch the Aleatico, currently at the base of Friello, a sweet and sparkling wine but soon also in a “firm” version. The plant processes about 5,000 hectoliters of wine (from the 2002 vintage about 10,000 hectoliters of wine)
