HISTORY AND COMPANY
At 103 years old, Lambrusco Vezzelli remains one of the best wines of the area: a challenging but satisfying place, which produces a clear Sorbara with an aftertaste of violet, with a low froth and high acidity. However, the “saldein”, a floodplain terrain with extraordinary organic characteristics, must now deal with the frequent floods. The Vezzelli winery was founded in 1958 by Delmo and his brother Francesco, and is now led by the third generation, Roberto. In via Canaletto the many aficionados return to collect the bottles where once the famous trattoria "La Tettoia" was also located. And over the years the awards have arrived: the Slow Wine Oscar, Matilde di Canossa, on the Merum guide and almost (almost!) The coveted Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso.
