A story that began a little less than a century ago, exactly on 6 February 1930, the day on which Daniele Venica buys what is now the central body of the Venica & Venica company, consisting of the farmhouse and the surrounding vineyards. Now, in the sign of a constant and harmonious generational change, it is Gianni, Giorgio and Giampaolo Venica who continue to feed the deep passion and the incessant love for wine, for the vineyards and for their work. In total, there are just under forty hectares of vineyard owned by the company, arranged on what are some of the best hills of Dolegna, and carried out following ecological agronomic practices with low environmental impact. Among the rows, the plants are treated almost maniacally, and in full respect of nature, biodiversity and ecosystem, they grow on soils consisting of sandstone marls of Eoceanic origin. In the cellar, method and rigor, then modernity and innovations, join the most deeply rooted traditions, giving rise to extremely refined wines, with a strong personality, capable of exalting themselves in monovarietal vinifications and more. Constantly following each production step, what is one of the company's basic principles is never forgotten, aimed at enhancing and enhancing all that the season and the territory have been able to express in the fruit. This is how bottles that meet the highest quality standards are born, capable of telling the best Friuli if we talk about wine. Labels, those bearing the name "Venica", for years an undisputed reference point for the name of Collio, in which the varied range of Venica & Venica wines stands out for excellence and prestige, and above all it is able to satisfy and conquer even the most refined and demanding palates. Wines that together constitute a real enological, aromatic, deep and valuable mosaic, as well as convincing, elegant and refined.
