HISTORY AND COMPANY
Agricole Vallone is a historic Apulian winery, founded in 1934 and today led by a team of young and brilliant professionals under the guidance of Francesco Vallone. The working approach in the management of the vineyards and in the management of the wine production process is closely linked to the traditions and the identity of the territory, to which the Vallone family has always remained faithful. The Vallone Farms can count on a vast property of land that includes olive groves, arable land, vegetable gardens and, above all, 170 hectares of vineyards. These properties are structured around three large estates: the Iore estate in the San Pancrazio Salentino area, the Flaminio estate in Brindisi, where a modern and innovative winery is located and, finally, the estate of the Castello di Serranova in Carovigno, historical site of the Vallone family, immersed in the large Torre Guaceto Reserve, a natural oasis overlooking the sea. Here we also find a centuries-old olive tree called Albero del Crocifisso, because in 1600 a wooden cross was found on its roots. The wines of the Vallone winery are born from a production of the highest quality level. From the wide range offered, the Graticciaia stands out, a red wine made from Negroamaro grapes that has become a symbol of the cellar. It is a prestigious oenological monument of Puglia, the expression of a splendid territory, between sea and Mediterranean scrub.
