HISTORY AND COMPANY
The Speri winery is immediately associated with two names: Amarone and Valpolicella. In fact, Amarone is certainly the most representative wine of Valpolicella and the calling card of the prized Speri production. This winery was born in the second half of the nineteenth century and can therefore boast a truly enviable history and tradition. The experience and the strong roots in its territory still allow Speri to confirm, bottle by bottle, one of the great names of the wine produced in Valpolicella. The competence in the vineyard is certainly the starting point for obtaining a great wine: for this reason, Speri vinifies only grapes coming from their own lands, soils that are cultivated and respected with an ever watchful eye to the needs and rhythms of nature. Hand picked, no fertilizers and minimum phytosanitary reductions are just three details that confirm the farsightedness and the seriousness of this reality. We have already mentioned the Amarone Speri, a bottle of absolute value and rewarded every year by all the most prestigious guides. But Speri is also dedicated to Recioto, Ripasso, Valpolicella and goes as far as the production of a Grappa di Amarone. All the bottles are united by the same passion, by the same indissoluble bond with their territory, by the same quality: the quality that has made Speri one of the most appreciated in Italy.
