History



On each bottle of wine produced by the Chigi Saracini Farms of Castelnuovo Berardenga it is possible to read the history of the noble families who contributed to the formation of this heritage of very ancient origins. The blazon that today is identified with the commercial image of the company's production, collects the emblems of the four families that have alternated or integrated into the property, through kinship relationships or following the most disparate historical events of the Farms: it was in the XII century. that these nobles of Germanic origin and already feudal lords of the Maremma, arrived in Siena.

Cellar

Fermentation and storage take place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of medium-small capacity for a total capacity of over 5200 hl, in which alcoholic fermentations and the subsequent finishing phases of new wines are performed with precision and expertise.
