During the reign of Louis XV, around 1750, it was Simon Verry who founded the winery now known as Domaine Chanson Père et Fils, one of the first winegrowing realities in Burgundy to give life to the wine trade, born in Beaune during the 18th century century.
After more than two centuries, the Maison currently has a wine estate of about seventy hectares, scattered in the best areas classified as "premier cru", both in Beaune and in Savigny and Pernand Vergelesses. Since 1999, the Chanson company has belonged to the Bollinger Champagne group which, pursuing a policy aimed firstly at obtaining the highest quality in each wine, makes use of a large team of experts, truly able to make the most of the best terroirs of Burgundy and from the grapes from here.
Among the rows, respect for what is the balance of environment, nature and the ecosystem is always constant and maximum, and the agronomic standards followed devote careful and manic care to each plant, so that the grapes that are harvested are prized , frank and concentrated in their smallest nuances. In the cellar, scrupulously checking every production step, the main objective is never lost sight of, aimed at enhancing all that the season and the territory have been able to express in the fruit. In this way a range of labels is born, capable of responding to all tastes and needs.
From the Chablis to the Puligny Montrachet, from the Pommard to the Burgundy (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir above all), the bottles that refer to the Domaine Chanson are synonymous with the highest winemaking excellence of Burgundy and beyond. Wines, those that come from the winery founded by Simon Verry, able to conquer from the first sip, and able to give emotions that few other wines are able to offer.
