HISTORY

The Farro del Fusaro wineries, in the municipality of Bacoli, were born in 1926.Michele Farro has been collecting the wealth of family experiences with great passion since 1997 and has started a program to recover and enhance the ancient wines of the Campi Flegrei, the Piedirosso and the Falanghina D.O.C. A program based on the absolute quality of all production processes, starting from the monitoring and selection of the land and the grapes, to the transformation and bottling processes. The research and historical positioning of the ancient Phlegraean vines, which lasted several years, led to the birth of a new wine in the year 2000. From the Campi Flegrei D.O.C vine, cultivated with a “free foot”, from late harvest, with low yield per hectare, situated on the CIGLI of the Flegrei volcanoes, LE CIGLIATE D.O.C. Innovation and tradition reposition wines in a historical framework to offer a product that is ever closer to the tastes and expectations of lovers.
