Today as in the past, the Brugal & Co. company is engaged in the production of very high quality rum, completely produced in the Dominican territory, starting from the selection of the raw materials up to the bottling. In almost 130 years of history, the Brugal brand has grown dramatically, while preserving the traditions, authenticity and quality of the beginnings. Rum production is 75,000 liters a day, as the market ranks third in the international rum market. Produced with a double passage in a column still, and then left to rest in barrels of ex bourbon in white oak or in barrels of ex sherry in Spanish red oak, Brugal rum is considered a "national brand" in the Dominican Republic, for having thanks in a fundamental way to the economy and industrial development of the country.
