Casebianche was born in 2000 in Torchiara, Cilento, when Elisabetta Iurio and Pasquale Mitrano decided to abandon their activity as architects to recover the family vineyards and start wine production. The first few years are needed by the couple to gain an awareness of the potential of the place and to understand what would have been the best way to follow, through experimental vinifications. In 2006 the decisive meeting took place with the oenologist Fortunato Sebastiano who brought the first bottling the following year. The farm extends over 14 hectares in the territory of Torchiara, between Mount Stella, the Acquasanta stream and the Cilento sea, where about 5 hectares of vineyards are grown among olive trees, citrus fruits and figs, mainly with local grapes like the Aglianico and the Fiano. The soils are predominantly clayey with the presence of marls and sandstones better known as "flysch Cilentano". In the vineyards the interventions are limited to the essential, with simple mechanical workings, natural fertilizers, copper, sulfur and clay for the defense of the vine. In addition to organic Casebianche looks favorably on the principles of biodynamics and has therefore started an "agrological" program. Vinification is carried out immediately after the manual harvest of the grapes, with spontaneous fermentation initiated by indigenous yeasts, in full compliance with the raw materials. Casebianche has chosen to enhance two varieties such as Aglianico and Fiano, making them express mainly in purity. Thus we find "Il Fric", a pleasant rosé aglianico, the Cilento Aglianico DOC "Cupersito", produced with grapes selected from the best vineyards, the Rosso Cilento DOC "Dellemore", where the percentages of barbera and piedirosso are combined with aglianico. The Fiano is instead used for the production of the Classic Method Sparkling Dosage Zero "La Matta", for the Cilento Fiano DOC "Cumalè", and finally in the Bianco Paestum IGT "Iscadoro", where it appears alongside Malvasia, Trebbiano and other local varieties to white berry.
