HISTORY AND COMPANY
We are in the DOC Monreale, in the valley of the Jato, in a territory suited to viticulture that has been able to exploit the natural propensity of this land towards Syrah. The landscape, 77 hectares of which 38 are vineyards, is also marked by olive trees and fruit trees all around the "La Monaca" winery, a liberty touch in the countryside. A family estate of the Sallier de La Tour cousins that for generations has been lovingly cared for and which in 2009 joined the Regaleali Estates, Capofaro, Tascante and Whitaker, the world of Tasca d’Almerita. Following a project to promote the area, we combine experience and experimentation, genuineness and passion every day, cultivating the indigenous varieties: Grillo, Inzolia and Nero d’Avola together with Syrah. Today our project speaks to wine lovers, attracted by an urban countryside context.
