HISTORY AND COMPANY
At 298 meters above sea level, along the Via Sannitica, the village of Guardia Sanframondi meets. The town, located on the southern slopes of the Matese, is built on a limestone rock, on top of which are the remains of an ancient castle. Those who look around from the top of Guardia Sanframondi, admire one of the most beautiful panoramas of Italy. The countryside, festooned with vines and rich in olive trees, gently descends towards the valley of the lower Calore, the river that winds among the ferocious fields. And when, at sunset, the sun sets behind Monte Acero, you have a whole phantasmagoria of lights and a symphony of colors. To the south the imposing mass of the Taburno looms, the mountain that Virgil describes to us as full of pastures at the top and valuable olive trees beside it. The panorama extends as far as the eye can see in all its grandeur and grandeur of beauty to one of the most fertile regions of Italy.
