At the beginning of the last century Turin is upset by the ferment of industrialization. In the barrier areas flourish the companies that attract the masses of peasants in search of work in the textile factories and in the new Fiat factories of San Salvario. Right in this hamlet, in a small wool mill in Via Baretti, among the raw bales of the warehouses rest the flasks of liqueurs smuggled in contraband in the valleys behind the hill. The workers who incessantly spin at the spinning wheels of the upper floors have hidden them here sheltered from light and frost and, at the end of the day, a drop of that spirit will bring them back with their mind to the aromas and traditions of their lands. From those recipes we have developed a bitter artisan, mixed with the citrus fruits of the Ligurian Riviera and with the best Piedmontese herbs to obtain a unique and intense flavor.
